I toiled over this blog post. It got longer and longer. Basically, it was the story of how Blood Orchids has become a bestseller through “Book Lovers”(read more for definition) social media, and three “overarching principles” that have guided my thinking: PIF, AV, and TQ. (Read it for definition! heh!)
It got so long I made a minibook and decided this might be useful for other writers. Here it is, for the whopping sum of 99 cents, my hard-won (some say pot-boiled) experience in building a reader base that has fans of Orchids clamoring for the sequel.
It's only 20 pages but they're power-packed. I don't pad with fluff, but I do Add Value (AV) with a bonus preview of Torch Ginger, the sequel, at the end.
What makes this different from all the others out there?
I talk about how to maximize Kindle Select and free promo days to leverage your book's visibility. This is so new most of the other author platform books haven't included it.
