railing of the house next door
as we walk by on our trianing hike
Beady eyes
Horrible screech like
Ghost babies wailing in hell
Looks like Thanksgiving might
Come early.
Ah, life on Maui.
Excuse me. There's a peacock on your railing.
(Just kidding for all the peacock lovers out there getting ruffled in defense of this lovely, noisy and highly atmospheric bird.)
