I have read all of Toby Neals books and loved them. I love the way she brings Hawaii alive to those who have never been there: the people, the culture, the landscape. This is the most recent book in the Lei Crime Series. I have grown to know the characters through the series and almost, but not quite second guess what they will do next. Well, not really Lei. She is quite unpredictable. I love that this book revolved around the fragile life of some of Hawaii's smallest inhabitants, the rare birds. The author is able to take a small piece of Hawaii in each book and weave it into the story so well. It was good to see some of the past characters make appearances also. GREAT read. Downloaded at 5pm on Tuesday and read over half last night and finished today (Wednesday) LOVE these books. I also read the ‘tickler' for the next book and cannot wait. Well done, Toby.

I would love to see your books come to life in a movie. I even have 2 main people for Michael and Lei in mind. Lol!
