Remember I said my son builds costumes? Here's a video of the completed project. Geekalicious!
I want to just say a few comments about the filming of this video. First, my husband set up the camera and didn't tell the kids. My daughter is in the grey dress helping with the armor. They did the film and video shoot in an abandoned high school in the sugar cane fields.
This gives a new meaning to all dressed up and no aliens to pound. Next stop–Hollywood!

That was more complicated than a girl getting dressed for the prom (go figure), but he was an awesome sight when done! What a fantastic costume and how much does it all weigh?
That sucker is way heavier and hotter than I could handle! Probably 20-30 pounds.
