Broken Ferns by Toby Neal cover reveal!
Two of the things I love most about being an “indie” author is
1) the speed of being able to produce my books as fast as me and my team can develop them and
2) artistic control over the covers.
After the recent blog post on doing the ferns shoot, I'm thrilled to show you the cover my designer Julie Metz developed with Mike Neal‘s photo. I am so happy with the depth, dimensionality, and consistent branded look the covers have. Just looking at it, you want to dive right in–and readers are going to love this book. I can't wait to get it out to you!
My design concept for the books is “beautiful, elegant and creepy” and this cover has captured that again!
Sign up for email to get the link when the ebook goes live in February. Print will be close behind (hopefully.)
It’s terrific!
I think so too! Did you read the post on the photo shoot? When you compare the photo with the design, it’s all pretty amazing!!!
All the covers of the Lei Crime novels look stunning, and this one is no different.
Yay! Glad u like it.
Great cover, Toby! You guys got the creepy aspect dead on!
I love it too!
Perfection!!
I think so!
Oh wow, that came out beautifully! Can’t wait for the book! I’ve been so enjoying the ones I have so far!
(wow, I seem to be fond of exclamation points tonight, lol)
I always use a lot of exclamation points and end up having to edit them out!
I got this last week and was going to read other books that I have on my kindle, but I couldn’t wait. I have enjoyed the first books so much,I was afraid I would be disappointed. I started it yesterday and had to force myself to stop at midnight. Got up this morning and was sorry to finish. It was great!!! She’s a wonderful character and she and Stevens belong together…
I think so too. Don’t worry, there’s more ahead for them! Aloha!
