What would you say to your younger self in two words?

This is a powerful idea that sparked wonderful thoughts.

This is a powerful idea that sparked wonderful thoughts.

I post these pictures and positives on my Facebook page–my little way of doing some mental health encouragement for my friends and followers. Yesterday's post, this picture, yielded such a bounty of wonderful advice for our younger selves I couldn't wait to put it together as some sort of poem.

This is your wisdom. Take hold of it now, it's never too late!

Celebrate life, it's okay

Worry less,  love deeply

Be patient, stay true

Fear not, wake up!

You're enough, don't try so hard, you're ok

but keep going and dream, do.

Focus, son!

Don't ever! buy Google (hee hee)

Slow down, face your fears

Practice joy, always love.

Eat less, lighten up, stay skinny

Take care of your body, it's the only one you'll get.

Stop, just breathe, you're okay

Be yourself- F sharp, A minor, G-sharp, it's all good

Stay single or adopt me, go back and

Do it! You win.

by my Facebook friends, with wordsmithing from me. What a way to encourage each other and ourselves. You inspire and encourage me every day!

What would YOU say to your younger self in two words or less? Post a comment, and join the poetry.
