Woohooo, today Fire Beach goes live in the Amazon store! Every one of my typo hunters, beta readers and experts (the only ones to read this book so far) has said, “This is the best one yet!” Buckle your seat belts, folks, and get ready for a wild ride on a story that's more of a thriller than a mystery. Fire Beach, Lei Crime #8, is here!
From one of my advance reader team:
“I've been a fan of Toby's stories since book 1 (Blood Orchids), and Fire Beach is her best YET! From the deepening of Lei and Stevens' relationship to the introduction of some sexy new characters, this book will keep you reading until the last page.” Noelle Pierce, Romance Author
Hawaii is cane fires, lush jungles, and feuds that won’t die until everyone’s dead.
Detective Lei Texeira stalks the shroud killer on her own terms as Michael Stevens finds himself engulfed in the flames of a case with tangled consequences. In this eighth of the bestselling Lei Crime Series, Lei and Stevens find out just how far hate and love will go.
“Toby Neal's Lei Crime Series is a wonderful achievement in consistency and style, introducing us to a rich landscape filled with memorable characters. Eight books in, I'm already anxiously waiting for number nine!” Detective (Ret) David Swinson, author of A Detailed Man
I know you have heard this numerous times, but I used to live in Maui, tho only three short years. So I love reading your books that take place there. It is so exciting to read about an adventure/mystery that takes place in areas I knew/remember so well. I used to work in the Weddings Dept @ the Grand Wailea Hotel… Talk about breathtakingly beautiful!!!
Thank you for continuing to bring happy memories back to me by the mere act of reading your stories. I have read all 8 of your Lei T. series and anxiously look forward to as many more as you care to share with us, your fans. Thanks again, Marilyn K., Nice, California. 10/18/2014
Wonderful to hear from you, and what a lovely place to work! thanks so much for sharing, and reviewing the books too if you find the time, it really helps readers find them. Much aloha to you!
Toby
Another winner with Fire Beach. I love all the books in this series and always love the next one best 🙂 Can’t wait for the new one to come out in January. Have only visited Oahu and Kauai — but can always picture most of the scenes. next time coming to Maui. Kauai was so much more quieter than the bustling traffic on Oahu. Have an author fried who lived there — Mary Deal (now has moved to Honolulu) but she wrote about the Ke’e Beach and the rip tides — so your title for the next book really caught my eye. I read a LOT and always read yours the minute it shows up. Keep up the good writing. Mahalo Nui Loa for great stories.
Wonderful to hear from you and thanks so much for the huge compliment! Much Mahalos!!
