I was going to blog about cats.

 

I still haven't taken full advantage of the foundation of the Internet.

I didn't, though, because of my pathetic compulsion to try to be original, so I went with something I'm hoping the other 1000+ bloggers participating in this challenge aren't blogging on.

But cats would probably be more popular. So I'll include a picture:

ANYWAY.

Here's a definition to start us off:

n.

1. Frankness or sincerity of expression; openness.

2. Freedom from prejudice; impartiality.

Now isn't that nicer than Truth, with it's bald, blunt edges, its self-serving passion for its own perceived purity?

Candor implies kindness, an acceptance of the other, a way of being that is true- but sincerely, gently true, an openness that accepts as much as it gives.

I've always preferred candor to truth.

Candidly, that's the truth.
